Auditions

Actors Auditioning with scripts in hand

What you need to know

Thank you for your interest in working with SPL. We hope you can join the team as we workshop exciting new plays by some of Spokane’s finest playwrights. We are hosting auditions for our 2021-2022 season. The general details and an audition request form are below. For more information, please click here.

When: August 29th, 2021. Auditions will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please sign up for your 10-minute individual audition below.

Where: Company Ballet School – 5424 E Sprague, Spokane, WA 99212

What to prepare: Nothing. During your audition we will ask you to cold read a monologue and then read a scene with a designated reader. Depending on the situation, we may also have a short interview with you. These are always very friendly and informal. Headshots and resumes are welcome, but not required.

Why: The nature of our work is different from other theatre entities. The scripts we are developing are, obviously, not finished yet. As the work is constantly evolving, we are looking for actors who are able to interpret text quickly, make bold decisions, and are comfortable working in a dynamic creative environment. If that sound exciting to you, we would love to meet you.
