At Spokane Playwrights Laboratory, we believe in the magic that happens when writers and performers come together to explore new work. This April, we’re inviting you to step into the heart of the creative process with our Playwright & Actor Workshop, a two-part event designed to foster collaboration, inspire fresh ideas, and bring scripts to life.

🎭 Seeking: 6 Playwrights | 12 Actors
Whether you’re a playwright eager to craft something new or an actor ready to embody fresh characters, this workshop is your chance to grow, experiment, and create in a supportive and dynamic environment.

What to Expect
- A welcoming, interactive environment where playwrights and actors collaborate.
- Playwrights will create brand-new 10-minute scripts during the workshop sessions.
- A mix of structured activities, guided script development, and live readings.
- Feedback sessions that help playwrights refine their work and actors deepen their character interpretations.
A final showcase where each 10-minute script is performed for a small invited audience at the end of the second workshop.
